How to find what you want
When you are buying, there are three ways to access the Tradia® inventories. First, you search our Web Site Directory and Classifieds. The second way is to provide us with your email adress or fax number for frequent broadcast updates. Thirdly, you can call your Tradia® Broker or Trade Director for assistance.
How Electronic Payments Work
Tradia® cares about your privacy. We want our members to feel comfortable in providing a credit card number or bank account information to us for future transaction fees. As a Tradia® Member, you will receive a statement of your trade account with all the previous month's barter activity and associated charges. You will receive your statement prior to any charges against your credit card or bank account on file with us. We run the electronic payment batches on the 10th of each month. This will give you approximately 5-7 days before we debit your credit card or bank account in a secured file with us at the Tradia® Corporate Office. For all trade transactions performed in September, you will not be charged the transaction fees until the 10th of October. This gives you time to alert us of any accounting discrepancy due to human error. This system also gives you the control you need with your financial information. If you ask us not to charge your credit card or bank account for any reason, we will honor your request.
Client referrals
We pay our Tradia® Members to introduce us to their friends, family, and associates. When you refer a business that opens a Tradia® account, you earn 150.00 Tradia® dollars, directly deposited to your Tradia® account. This is a great way to earn additional trade dollars.
Buyer beware
Business is business so be a careful shopper. Check the prices. Get more than one estimate or opinion. Many of us have been through the frustration of not paying attention to details when making a purchase. When dealing with contractors, make certain that all details are in writing to protect both parties. Remember, you earned your Tradia® Dollars, so spend them wisely. Every time you spend your trade dollars for something you want, your cash stays in your pocket. Treat your trade dollars like money because they can spend like money. If the price is too high, don't buy it, then call your Trade Director to advise.
Part cash transactions
Make the deal. In an ideal world every transaction would be 100% Tradia® Dollars. Truthfully we don't all have the same profit margin or demand for our product or service. There are certain high demand or small profit categories that may be traded on a part cash/part Tradia® basis. Part cash transactions are permitted in the Tradia® system with your Trade Directors approval, however, it will make your products and services more difficult to sell in the Trade system.
How to sell your product or service
We bring the buyers. Simply call a Trade Director to list anything you have to sell in the Tradia® Classifieds, Directories, or Auctions. Once you are comfortable with our web site and trade system, you can list all of this yourself and much more. Sell your products and services for fair market value. You don't have to discount to bring in new customers. You don't have to discount to sell your used inventories. As a reminder, always get a Tradia® authorization number on sales.
How to access the Business Directory and Classifieds
The future is here. You don't have to rely on anyone else for information. You can access the entire Tradia® system from your own computer. Our world is at your finger tips. Besides the home page menu that describes the Tradia® system, you have various sections of information to choose from.
Authorization for all transactions
When you are selling, in order to insure payment in Tradia® Dollars you must always obtain an authorization number from the Tradia® system or mail the Trade Draft within seven days of the transaction date. Failure to follow this procedure could jeopardize your ability to collect from the buyer. Remember, you are responsible for negotiating every aspect of the transaction, including all warranties and guarantees. It is your responsibility to verify funds on every transaction.
